Chika: *Hum* Hee hee. Just one more day till our Christmas light show. I can't wait!
Riko: *Giggle* You’re really excited about the show, aren’t you, Chika? I bet you’re dreaming about it at this point.
Chika: Riko, how did you know? I’ve been looking forward to it so much, I’ve dreamt about it every night!
You: That’s just like you, Chika. I had a dream about trimming the tree last night!
Ruby: Oh! I dreamed about all of us making ornaments. In my dream, I could even talk with our little star mascot.
Dia: The mascots you made are so cute, Ruby, they almost do seem like they could spring to life and start talking at any moment.
Hanamaru: I could see them gathering together while we’re all asleep for a big party.
Yoshiko: Heh, heh, heh. Yohane shall give their wandering souls temporary vessels, if they desire.
Mari: Once your magic sigil light display is done, let’s make it happen.
Kanan: C’mon, everyone! I know it’s fun to talk, but don’t stop working while you do!
You: Just about every candle is a different size and shape, but at least we got a lot of them.
Chika: Yeah! Good thing we prepared in advance. Huh? What’cha got there, Riko?
Riko: I didn’t have any jars, so I was wondering if I could make something with empty cans.
Yoshiko: A painted-over empty can with a bunch of holes poked in it. *Gasp* Lili, that star-shaped pattern’s my magic sigil, isn’t it?
Riko: I used a nail to poke holes in the side and draw something with them. I thought it’d be pretty to see the candlelight coming out of them.
Dia: That’s a brilliant idea! I can just imagine how fantastic those images will look drawn from light.
Kanan: If we could poke holes in the shape of a wave, it’d add to the sea theme. I’d like to put one of those next to my glass fishing floats!
Mari: *Chuckle* It’s awesome to see all our ideas finally take shape. I tried my hand at making a glass ritzen.
Hanamaru: G-Glass ritts-on? What’s that?
Mari: Ta-da! I did an inscription on this old glass cup. I just carved it into the paint I put on the surface. I think it came out really cute!
Chika: Wow! That’s beautiful! I wanna make one!
Ruby: Engraving glass sounds really difficult, but fun, too. How are you supposed to do it?
Mari: It’s a snap with this little rotary tool. Basically, you use it like a pen, and draw your pattern. Give it a try, Dia!
Dia: M-Me? A-All right. Slow and steady. Hmm. Clearly it takes time to get the hang of it, but this is more fun than I thought it’d be!
Ruby: That’s amazing, Dia! Is that “A” for Aqours?
Kanan: You’re so talented with stuff like this, Dia. Can I try next?
Chika: I wanna make one of those empty can candle holders. Oh, I should go buy some juice!
You: Calm down, Chika! We don’t need more containers than we have candles. …Well, there she goes.
Hanamaru: If we cut down the candles to match the size of our holders, we’ll have plenty, zura. If you warm up the knife first, you can melt the candle while you cut it.
Ruby: Oh, wow! When you do it like that, it’s easy to leave the wick intact. Hanamaru, you’re a genius!
Hanamaru: My grandma taught me that trick, zura! Grandma’s words of wisdom, zura!
Yoshiko: I’ll help you, Zuramaru. If we can increase the number of candles we’ve got, I’ll have no trouble making my giant magic sigil.
Dia: We ended up with more work to do than I expected. Let’s pick up the pace!
Kanan: Roger that! All right, I’m gonna draw a wave on my glass fishing float. Maybe the candlelight shining through the blue glass will remind people of the sea.
You: Maybe I should make a boat to add to the Uchiura Sea theme. I brought some sea glass I’ve been collecting.
Ruby: Me, too! I thought it’d be pretty if we glued it to glass cups.
Dia: Arranging sea glass to look like stained glass sounds beautiful. I’d like to make one, too.
You: Ooh, I could use the sea glass to make a ship mosaic! I’d love it if I could combine a bunch of the jars into one big ship.
Mari: If you do that, we should use one of our LED strands to surround it to make waters for it to sail!
Kanan: We’re coming up with all kinds of ideas! Maybe we should start considering the layout, too. What’s our count for the other kinds of decorations?
Yoshiko: Normally, Yohane would make a sigil with a diameter of at least half a kilometer, but just for you, I’ll shrink it down to about a meter.
Riko: We don’t have that many cans to spare for the snow decorations, maybe it’d be pretty if we just scattered them around, like real snow?
Kanan: By the way, what the heck’s taking Chika so long? How far did she go?
Riko: She might be trying to buy juice for everyone. I’ll go look for her!
Chika: I’m back, everyone! I got juice for all of us! Wh-Whoa!
Riko: Chika, watch out!
Yoshiko: My magic has been release! Barrier, max power!
Hanamaru: Riko, Yoshiko, nice catches, zura!
Yoshiko: Impressive, little demon Lili. We activated our barriers at the same instant.
Riko: I just happened to be closest.
Chika: *Laughs* Sorry, I tried to take a shortcut opening the door, and I messed up.
Ruby: You scared us, but as long as you’re not hurt, it’s okay.
Chika: I’m really sorry about that! Anyways, I bought juice for everyone. Why don’t we take a break?
Dia: Thank you, Chika. I think we’ll take you up on that, since we need the cans, too.
Hanamaru: Don’t mind if I do, zura! *Glug* *Glug* Ahh! I was really thirsty, too. That hit the spot, zura!
Kanan: That took you a really long time. Where did you go?
Chika: When I went to get the juice, I ran into Mutsu and the gang, and I went to go look at their candles.
Riko: Sounds like everyone’s right on schedule. How did they look?
Chika: They had mostly Christmas ones, as you’d expect. Oh, and they were making and painting little paper clay Christmas trees! It looked like so much fun!
Mari: Great! I think our candles are going to turn out very cute, too.
You: It’d be cool to see everyone else’s ideas, too. Maybe I’ll stop by later.
Ruby: Making things out of paper mache does sound like fun. I wonder if we can make a red brick warehouse like the ones in Hakodate?
Hanamaru: We’ve still got time, so let’s give it a try, zura. I’ll help, zura! If we can do it, I bet Leah would love to see a picture.
Yoshiko: Once my magic sigil is complete, Yohane shall lend her aid, as well.
Ruby: Thank you, Hanamaru. You too, Yoshiko. All right, time to roll up my sleeves and fo my Rubesty!
Dia: That break seems to have energized everyone. Let’s keep up this pace!
Mari: It’s full speed ahead towards a shiny candlelight night!
You: Aye aye!
