Chika: You all did an awesome job at the Setsubun event! I know it was last minute, but we got a really big crowd, didn't we?
You: I was working on the costume up till the last second, but it was worth it! Our live show blew the roof off the gym. I’m so glad everyone had fun!
Kanan: And we nailed that formation. Everyone had perfect timing. It was so crisp, it gave me goosebumps!
Mari: I asked all the people taking pictures to share them with me. I got lots of great shots of everyone in their cute outfits and ogre masks!
Riko: Speaking of masks, it seems like they were all equally popular! I’m so glad everyone liked them.
Hanamaru: It was a nice touch that we greeted everyone by putting a mask on them. The kids loved it, zura!
Ruby: My heart skipped a beat every time someone picked a mask I made! The people who put on my fortune god masks had such big smiles on their faces!
Dia: And it wasn’t just students. A lot of people from in town came, too. Seeing the joy on their faces made all of us happy, too, didn’t it?
Yoshiko: Even people who went to the bean scattering at Zuramaru’s temple showed up. Mu, ha, ha. I wonder now if they came to become my little demons!
Chika: Roar! I’m Chikachi, the scariest ogre is all the underworld! Stomp, stomp, stomp!
Yoshiko: So you’ve finally revealed yourself, ogre! The fallen angel Yohane activates a defensive barrier and summons the little demon Lili!
Riko: Heh, heh, heh. Fool. Today, I too am an ogre. The mighty Rikopi! Roar! Feel the wrath of my Riko Beam! Just kidding. *Giggle*
Mari: *Chuckle* You were more of a giant monster than an ogre, but that looks fun. Can I join in? I think your battle needs a fortune god in the mix.
Hanamaru: Me, too, zura! Ruby, let’s both be little demons, zura.
Ruby: Okay! Little demon Ruby makes her dark descent! Ta-da!
Yoshiko: Well met! Come, little demon Ruby! Come, little demon Zuramaru!
Kanan: I have no idea what the game is, but there’s nothing wrong with embracing your inner child. I’m playing, too! I’ll be the blue ogre. What’cha say, Dia?
Dia: Sure! The Setsubun event may be over, but I don’t want the moment to end just yet.
Chika: Wasn’t it a blast? Seeing everyone get into the spirit like that was all I hoped for, and then some.
Hanamaru: All that hard work setting up was worth it, zura.
Mari: I always thought of Setsubun as a classical, traditional event, but thanks to you all, I think we’ve found a whole new world of ways to celebrate!
You: We even managed to tailor the costumes to suit the occasion, and our combined formation and costume change went off without a hitch.
Riko: *Giggle* Everyone who came had such a good time. I was overjoyed when they called for an encore Setsubun song and sang along!
Ruby: We threw so many beans, I’m sure lots and lots of good things will happen to everyone.
Hanamaru: I think we celebrated enough that the fortune gods will be paying everyone lots of visits, zura!
Yoshiko: So many of Yohane’s little demons gathered today. The power of my ebony jewels has grown even greater.
Dia: It really was a splendid event. We don’t have much, but let’s celebrate, shall we?
Chika: Our after-party’s Setsubun-themed, too. Everything you all made looks so yummy!
Hanamaru: I’m all about the Setsubun sweets, zura. Ruby, your ehomaki sushi looks delicious! I’ve never seen light shades of purple in an ehomaki roll, zura.
Ruby: *Giggle* I used purple sweet potato powder. I was hoping it’d look like a traditional ehomaki roll, but with some cute color added!
Kanan: Yoshiko, your ehomaki sushi isn’t fallen angel-style, is it?
Riko: It looks like there’s fried chicken inside. Whatever you used, it smells mouthwateringly delicious.
Yoshiko: *Glare* Freeze, little demon Lili! You’ve forgotten the piece de resistance. My fallen angel sauce!
You: That’s totally the ultra-spicy hot sauce.
Mari: *Chuckle* I’m sure it’ll still taste great! I know you’re supposed to eat your whole ehomaki roll, but seeing this spread, I’d really like to share!
Dia: Mari, what’s going on with your ehomaki roll? It looks like there’s nothing inside.
Mari: Oh, don’t worry! There’s more to it than meets the eye. Depending on where you cut it, you’ll get something different.
Kanan: Wow, that’s cool. Hmm, where should I cut it? Dead center, maybe?
Mari: *Chuckle* You’ll just have to do it to find out! Want me to cut them with you, Kanan?
Kanan: Ehomaki rolls are really thick, so there’s a trick to cutting them the right way. You think I can pull this off?
You: If you start directly on top of the wrap, you’ll slice right through like it’s nothing!
Chika: Wow, You! You really know your stuff! Okay, Mari and Kanan! If you please!
Mari: Here we go! Shiny cut! *Chuckle* I got it just right!
Dia: Oh! You wrote the word “Aqours” along the inside! Mari, that’s such a wonderful surprise!
Mari: I had our hotel chef show me the trick. I really wanted to surprise you all! Don’t ignore the other ehomaki rolls, though!
Hanamaru: A message inside a sushi roll. That’s incredible, zura. I can’t wait to try the others!
Yoshiko: What a fool I am. I should’ve inscribed a spell bestowing my fallen angel protection inside my roll.
Ruby: Your ehomaki roll uses sauce, right, Yoshiko? Why not just draw it in sauce after you put it on the plate?
Riko: So we add the sauce to our own ehomaki rolls, then! That’s good. Now we can control the spiciness! Maybe you should draw your seal after all, Yoshiko.
Yoshiko: An idea only the most devout little demon would devise. I think I’ll do just that!
Chika: Wow! Yoshiko, you can even draw magic sigils out of sauce? That’s some skill!
Mari: That’s the epitome of Yoshiko’s fallen angel cuisine. I think I’ll help myself to some, too!
Kanan: It’s definitely the ultra-spicy stuff, so be careful.
Mari: Mm-mmm! It definitely has a lot of heat, but I think it’s absolutely delicious!
Hanamaru: Now that you said that, it’s starting to look good to me, too, zura. Maybe I’ll also try some, zura!
Ruby: Maybe I’ll try some, too. Hanamaru, do you wanna split that?
Chika: Yum! Ruby, I love your rolled cake. I sure worked up a big appetite from all that dancing around during the live show! Hmm? Oh, no!
You: Ch-Chika, what’s wrong?!
Chika: Everyone’s food looked so tasty, I totally forgot about doing the toast!
Dia: *Chuckle* Now that you mention it, so did I. Well then, let’s start by having our toast with my iced green tea.
Ruby: Dia, your iced green tea is the best! It’s got a hint of sweetness and a ting of bitterness. It’s really refreshing!
Kanan: I’ll pass around the cups, everyone. One, two, three, four… Huh? We’re short one.
Mari: How? I definitely brought nine cups.
Riko: Hmm. Chika’s got hers, You’s got hers… It looks like everyone has her cup. Huh? Who’s this under the Shiitake mask?
Shiitake: Woof, woof!
Riko: What the?! It’s all fuzzy. This isn’t a mask. Is this real fur?
Together: It’s Shiitake! This is Shiitake! Shiitake, zura!
