Honoka's Mother: Welcome back! Honoka's probably already started digging in to the snacks. Go on and join her. Yukiho: Kay. Yukiho: Hey, sis, what's on the menu? Yukiho: Huh? She's not here. Yukiho: Siiiiis! Honoka: *Chomp* Yukiho: Ack! Honoka: Y-Y-Yukiho! Yukiho: Oh for goodness sake, are you eating sweets in your bed again? Honoka: Wh-What if I am? It's my room. What's the problem? Yukiho: The problem is, you ate my share of the snacks, too! Honoka: Huh? This was meant for two people? Yukiho: You are unbelievable. Honoka: S-Sorry... Yukiho: Whenever you eat in bed like that, you get crumbs all over the place. That's why mom's always getting mad at you. Honoka: S-So what? I know the risks. If she gets mad, she gets mad. Yukiho: Do you WANT to get yelled at? Honoka: No... No! I don't! Honoka: Oh man, what am I gonna do? Help me, Yukiho! Yukiho: *Sigh* Yukiho: Fine, I'll help you clean up. You start with the futon. Honoka: Okay... Honoka: Actually, can it wait just a second? I only have a couple of bites of this left and then I'll be done eating. Yukiho: Are you kidding me?! Honoka: I-I'm just joking! You get exasperated too easily,Yukiho. Yukiho: Only because you're so irresponsible! Yukiho: You're the older sister. You should act like it. Honoka: Ah ha ha... Alisa: So you two were cleaning up the whole time? Yukiho: Yeah, cleaning up HER mess. There was even food stuck between the frame and the mattress! Yukiho: I really want Honoka to get her act together. Alisa: Hehehe. Living with her sounds like a lot of fun. Yukiho: Huh? She's a total slob. Alisa: Sob or not, if Honoka was my sister, I bet I'd always be in a good mood. Yukiho: I wonder... Yukiho: I wish I had an older sister that was like Eli. Yukiho: She's mature, she's organized, she's kind, and she's pretty. She really gives off the air of an older sister. Alisa: You think so? Yukiho: Yeah. In fact, I'm gonna tell Honoka to act more like Eli. Yukiho: ...so what I'm saying is, I want a big sister like Eli. Someone who's responsible. Honoka: I see, I see. Yukiho: I see? You say it like I'm not even talking about you. Honoka: Wait, does that mean Eli's gonna be your big sister from now on? Honoka: So I get Alisa for a little sister in exchange? Yukiho: Wha... Huh? That's not what I said at all. Honoka: But that sounds like a blast! Yukiho: HUH?! Honoka: I've got a brilliant idea. Let me call Eli and Alisa! Yukiho: Buh-Wha... Hold on a minute! Kotori: A sister swap?! 
Honoka: Yeah! From this afternoon until tomorrow morning! Rin: So for one day only, Honoka and Alisa are sisters, and Eli and Yukiho are sisters? Eli: *Chuckle* I agree, it's quite a shocker. Hanayo: Actually, it sounds like a lot of fun. Nozomi: What inspired this whole swapping sisters idea? Honoka: Mainly Yukiho getting mad at me. Rin: About what? Honoka: Stuff like eating sweets in bed, or eating bread on the sofa. Maki: Isn't that normal? Honoka: Really? Oh, and forgetting to set the timer when I draw a bath, or leaving my trash out instead of throwing it right away... Nico: That's all common sense. Honoka: Yukiho gets exasperated so quickly. It's like having another mom! She needs to chill out. Nozomi: Hahaha. It sounds like you're chilled out enough for the whole family, Honoka. Honoka: Anyways! Yukiho said she'd like a big sister who acts like Eli, and so we decided to trade for a day. Umi: It sounds more like everyone else is just catering to your whims, Honoka. Honoka: Eep. Umi: I'd say that's an absurd idea. Honoka: Urk. Hanayo: You're okay with this, Eli? Eli: Oh sure. It's just one day. Why not? Honoka: Eli! Why not, indeed! Umi: Eli... You're much too soft. Eli: I'm looking forward to it too! I get to spend the whole day with Yukiho. What's not to like? Rin: No fair. I wanna live with Yukiho and Alisa too! Eli: *Giggle* Want to come over? Maki: Well, if the four of them are okay with it, I don't see the harm. Kotori: It's not like Honoka and Yukiho are having a serious fight or anything. Let it go, Umi. Umi: Very well. Umi: Make sure you don't inconvenience Alisa, all right Honoka? Honoka: I-I know, I know. Honoka: Yukiho was bad enough. Now I've got Umi acting like a mom. Umi: Did you say something? Honoka: N-Nope! Eli: I suppose I should go pick up Yukiho, shouldn't I? Honoka: Hehehe. Then I'm off to get Alisa! Eli: Welcome to our home. Let's make our day together a good one, Yuhiko! Yuhiko: Yes, ma'am! Eli: Oh no, no, no. Yuhiko: Hmm? Eli: Ma'am? That's much too formal. Yuhiko: But... Eli: We're family today, aren't we? Yuhiko: Oh, good point. Yuhiko: Hmm. All right then! Let's have fun today! Eli: *Giggle* We will! Yuhiko: Let's see... This next problem... Eli: Are you really sure you want to spend so much time studying? It's not like we do this all the time. Yuhiko: Oh, I'm sure! I mean, I don't get much time to study quietly with my sister around. Eli: Ah ha ha... That sounds about right. Eli: Then I guess I'll prepare for class tomorrow, too. Eli: If you get stuck at any point, feel free to ask for help. Yuhiko: Thanks. Oh, umm... Eli: Yes? Yuhiko: Eli, can we talk about µ's after we're done studying? You're an amazing dancer. I've always wanted to sit down and really talk to you. Eli: Of course! In fact, I wanted to talk too. Yuhiko: Oh... Th-Thank you very much. Yuhiko: Wow. Rin: yeah! If I had an older sister like Honoka, I bet every day would be full of laughs. Kotori: If Eli was my older sister, I bet I'd be at the top of the class. Rin: They're so lucky. How come Honoka and Eli aren't my big sisters? It's not fair, right Maki? Maki: Not especially. You're asking for something you simply can't have. Nozomi: Hahaha. It's easy to look at someone else's sister and thing they're the greatest. Nico: Yukiho and Alisa wouldn't have a thing to complain about if they had me for a sister! Rin: What do you mean, Nico? Nico: I mean Honoka and Eli should try to be perfect sisters, like me. If they did that, there'd never be a single argument. Maki: I think we're getting off topic. Hanayo: Yeah, yeah! You're already a great big sister, Nico. Rin: For the next round maybe I'll be your new sister, Nico! Nico: Mm-hmm-hmm! I'm ready when you are. Nozomi: The whole idea really caught me off guard, but I gotta admit it sounds like a blast. Hanayo: At first I was afraid Honoka and Yukiho had a falling out. Once I realized that wasn't the case, I was so relieved. Maki: From the outside looking in, all that silliness about eating in bed seems so trivial. Kotori: Something wrong, Umi? Umi: Hmm? Just wondering how Honoka and Eli are doing... Nico: You worry too much, Umi. They all get along just fine. There's nothing to fret about. Umi: Oh, I'm not worried that they'll start fighting or anything like that. Umi: Just... When you're used to always having your family around it must be lonely when they're gone. Rin: Huh? It's only one day. They can handle that, right? Umi: Yes... I suppose you're right. I'm sure it's going to be something to remember. Nozomi: *Giggle* Can you imagine if they all came back and said, "We prefer this arrangement. We're gonna stay like this forever!" Hanayo: Whoa! You can do that?! Nozomi: Haha. I'm just kidding! I can't wait to hear all the details tomorrow. Honoka: And a oney and a two-ey and a three-ey and a four! Alisa: Chika-chaka, chika-chaka, chika-chaka, shoot! Honoka: Shoot! Alisa: I threw rock... And you threw scissors. Honoka: I-I lost AGAIN?! Alisa: I'm really good at rock-paper-scissors. Honoka: Weren't you the one who asked me to teach you about Japanese games? You're a million times better than me. Honoka: Let's go again! One more round! Alisa: Pfft... Hee hee. Honoka: Oops! Am I getting too worked up? Sorry! Alisa: Oh, not at all, Honoka! I'm having the time of my life. You're so expressive and so full of energy! Alisa: I'm really glad we did this. Honoka: Oh... *Giggle* Thank you, Alisa! If you need anything, don't hesitate to wake me up. Yuhiko: Okie-dokie. Eli: Night-night, Yuhiko. Yukiho: Goodnight, Eli. Yukiho: Eli's such an amazing person. Yukiho: She's kind, she's pretty, she's smart, she's a great dancer and singer... Yukiho: Totally different from Honoka. Yukiho: I really thought I'c rather have her for a big sister, but... Yukiho: Something just doesn't feel right. Yukiho: Why do I feel so gloomy? Yukiho: I wonder if Honoka's already asleep... Yukiho: Well, whatever. Time to turn off the brain and go to sleep. Alisa: Zzz... Honoka: Alisa's sound asleep. I hope she had a good time today. Honoka: I know I did. Playing all day with Alisa was tons of fun. Honoka: I thought I'd be able to kick back and relax without Yukiho here yelling at me but... Honoka: ...it's just not the same without her. Honoka: I wonder if Yukiho's sleeping too? Eli: Honoka, Alisa, good morning! Alisa: Oh, hi, sis! Eli: I brought Yukiho home. Did you behave yourself, Alisa? Alisa: Yup. Honoka was the perfect hostess. We played the whole time. Eli: Good. I'm glad to hear it. Honoka! Honoka: Nghk... Nnuhu... Nhuu... Yukiho: Sis?! Umi: Honoka, are you... crying?! Honoka: YUKIHOOOOO! Yukiho: Ahh! Lemme go! Nico: Honoka, you've got snot dripping all down your face! Here, take a tissue. Honoka: Uwaah... Thanks, Nico... *Honk* It was just so weird not having Yukiho at home... Honoka: C'mon, Yukiho, let's hurry home! *Honk* Yukiho: Sis... that's so gross. Yukiho: But thank you. Nozomi: How'd you do, Yukiho? Were you lonely too? Yukiho: I had a great time. Eli really is a model big sister. Yukiho: Although... I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss Honoka just a little bit. Alisa: Me too. I felt the tiniest bit relieved when I saw Eli. Alisa: I certainly enjoyed myself staying with Honoka, but there's no denying that only Eli really feels like a sister. Eli: Oh, Alisa... You say the sweetest things. Maki: What about you, Eli? Eli: Yukiho was wonderful. We talked for a long time about all sorts of things. Still, when bedtime came, I couldn't help but wonder if Alisa was getting a good sleep. Kotori: *Giggle* The bonds of sisterhood aren't easily broken! Rin: Glad to see the sister swap won't be permanent. Kotori: It looks like Honoka had the hardest time of the four. Maki: And she was the one who was most excited about the idea! Honoka: Forgive me, Yukiho! O promise I'll never call you a short-tempered clone of mom ever again, okay? Yukiho: What?! You said that about me? Honoka: Uh-oh. Honoka: Er... Ha ha ha... I'm just gonna go and head down to school early today... Yukiho: Honoka! get back here this instant! Kotori: *Giggle* Looks like the experiment left everyone in a good mood. Umi: I suppose there are all kinds of sisterly relationships. In the end, though, your own blood comes first. Eli: Next time we'll come visit Honoka and Yukiho together, right, Alisa? Alisa: Yeah! |
