Honoka: Merry Christmas! 
Hanayo: Honoka, Christmas is still a ways off. Honoka: Oo-Oops! Sorry, I got so wrapped up in making Christmas decorations, I guess the Christmas spirit just took hold of me. Nico: That's just like you. Nozomi: Heh, heh, heh. Behold this glorious golden construction paper, ladies! Kotori: Nozomi and I are back from shopping. Let's make lots of beautiful Christmas decorations! Rin: Whoa! They sell gold construction paper? I call dibs! Nozomi: I was thinking we could make a bunch of stars with it, and put them up all over the club room. Wouldn't that be awesome? Honoka: Oh yeah! I like the sound of that! Kotori: I also bought glow-in-the-dark paper. Use some of it, too! Nico: The lights go out to reveal an endless starry sky. It'll definitely be oozing with romance in here tonight. *Chuckle* Maki: A romantic night in the club room, huh? Eli: Everyone, about tomorrow's rehear- Umi: Wh-What's going on in here? the floor is absolutely covered in paper! Eli: There's paper scattered all over the place. What on earth are you all doing in here? Nico: Can't you tell? We're making Christmas decorations. Think of it as a big head start to ensure this year's Christmas celebration is extra extravagant! Honoka: You always tell us to be prepared well in advance, Umi. I wanted to make you proud! Rin: Wow. Well said, Honoka! Umi: Everyone pause, please! Hanayo: What's wrong, Umi? Umi: Can you think of anything you need to take care of BEFORE you can make decorations? Maki: Was there something else we were supposed to do? Honoka: Nothing comes to mind! Nozomi: Oh, I got it. Before we make decorations, we should decide on the menu for the part, right? Rin: I vote for chicken wings! Kotori: Pumpkin soup for me. Eli: Year-end cleaning. Honoka: B...Bwuh? Nozomi: Eli, you can't eat that! Eli: Come on now! We discussed doing our big cleanup before Christmas. Remember? Rin: We did? Umi: We did. So let's save the decoration making for after we get this place cleaned up. Nico: Hold the phone. Eli, Umi, I think you misunderstand the true purpose of doing a big cleanup at the end of the year. Umi: We... do? Nico: The point is to do a whole year's worth of tidying up at the very end of the year. Nozomi: Yup. And it's important to do a good job so you can invite the new year's gods into a clean home! Eli: Which is exactly why we need to do a through- Nico: Look at the calendar, everyone! Hanayo: Let's see... Today's the last day of November, December starts tomorrow. Nico: See what I mean? If we start cleaning now, we'll start next year with all the mess from December left over! Eli: Nico... Umi: Don't try to weasel out of this. Nico: I-I'm not! That was a great point! Eli: Look around the room. We've got an entire year's worth of clutter piled up in here. Rin: Wasn't there less stuff at the beginning of the year? Maki: Yes. And it does feel like the room's gotten more cramped as of late. Kotori: Now that you mention it, it does feel a bit tight, Especially with that stack of cardboard boxes taking up so much floor space. Eli: We've got rehearsals scheduled for all day Saturday. Let's take the morning to do our annual cleanup. Honoka: I don't want cleaning to suck up any rehearsal time. Umi: We need to get this done so we can do all our club activities without it weighing on our minds. Umi: If we get our cleanup started now, we'll be able to kick back and relax just in time for New Year's Eve. Eli: Let me be painfully honest here. If we don't start it now, then we'll be cleaning on New Year's Day! Nico: Gah! Rin: Anything but that! Honoka: Blargh... Looks like we've got no choice in the matter. Let's make this room sparkle! |

| Umi: Happy New Year!
Honoka: Happy New Year! Let's make this year even better than the last. Eli: Huh? I thought I heard someone... Maki: Sure you're not hearing things? Honoka: H-Huh? No one's looking over here... Oh no, did they forget about me? Nico: Let's just go visit the temple already. Nozomi: You gotta start the year off by paying you respects to the gods! Rin: Getting our year-end cleanup done early turned out to be a smart move. Right, Hanayo? Honoka: Cleanup? Hanayo: Yeah! If we hadn't started when we did, we would've had to do it on New Year's Day. Honoka: *Gasp!!!* Honoka: Can they not hear me because I was the only one who didn't help clean? Kotori: All right everyone, it's time for our first temple visit of the new year! Rin: Yeah! Honoka: W-Wait, everyone! Honoka: I'll clean! I swear I'll clean! Please don't ditch me! Honoka: WAAAAAH! Honoka: *Pant* H-Huh? Honoka: Oh... thank goodness.. it was only a dream... Honoka: Whew... that was scary. I'd better pull my weight at tomorrow's big cleaning session. Honoka: *Yawn* Good morning... Hanayo: Good morning, Honoka! Eli: Why the long face? Are you dreading the big cleanup that much? Honoka: It's not that... If I don't do a good job, you're all gonna ditch me. Kotori: Huh?! Let's all do our best to make the room shine, Honoka! Umi: What the heck is this?! Nozomi: Ooh, what'd you find, Umi? Buried treasure? Umi: It's an old test! And... the grade is really... Maki: Did someone forget this? I can't believe anyone could get a score that low... Wait a second, this is Rin's! Rin: *Screech* Umi, Maki, don't look at those answers! I usually do a little bit better than that! Umi: Serves you right for leaving it here. You gotta remember to bring your tests home! Rin: Umi, you don't know how it feels. You always get excellent grades. I don't wanna bring something like that back to my parents! Umi: Err... I-I suppose that's true. I'm sure I'd be hesitant to bring a test like this home. Rin: See?! Maki: What're you getting all indignant about, Rin? After we finish cleaning, we're going to review all the material that was covered on this test. Rin: Okay... Kotori: Eek! Nico: Now what? Kotori: This black box kinda gives me the creeps... Hanayo: Y-You're right... There's something odd written on it. Umm... Something about talismans? Nozomi: Nice, you guys hit the jackpot! Honoka: Is there treasure inside? Nozomi: *Cackle* It's a complete set of my spiritual tools! A valuable treasure indeed. Nozomi: Tarot cards, power stones, charms, talismans, healing items, and more. It's everything you'd ever need! Nozomi: But wait, there's more! If you wanna delve REALLY deep into a new world, I can teach you some of my forbidden magic. Kotori: Eek! Nozomi, you're freaking me out! Eli: NO-ZO-MIIIIIII! Nozomi: Don't get mad, Eli. We'll continue this later, okay? Heh, heh... Eli: We don't need spiritual stuff in the Idol Study Club! Take every last bit of that home with you, please. Maki: The more I look around, the more things I see that have nothing to do with either school or the club. Umi: Agreed. In fact, I've been thinking... Umi: Maybe we should just junk everything in here and start fresh? Hanayo: Huh? Oh no... Nico: We'll clean up! I promise we'll get the room organized, so please give us final say on what stays and what goes! Umi: Very well. But remember, if you do a poor job... Honoka: D-Don't worry. It'll be okay! | Hanayo: Oh... Oh my goodness... I've had dreams about this!
Nico: Incredible, right? This is an actual video of A-RISE's legendary debut performance. Hanayo: *Sniff* To think they were putting on such amazing shows right from the beginning... *Honk* It's so beautiful I can't see through all the tears... Maki: ........................ Nico: Hey, what gives?! Who turned off the TV?! Maki: I did! We're supposed to be cleaning up, not watching school idol DVDs! Put down the remote and get to work! Umi: Maki's right. I've got no problem with watching school idol DVDs, but let's save it until AFTER we're done. Rin: Hey, there's a whole bunch of rolled up posters here. Do we need any of these? Nico: Of course we do! I'm saving them for posterity. Eli: We'll never get this place clean if you keep acting like that. If you want to save any posters, take them home with you. Nico: Grr... Fine, fine. Hanayo and I will each take half. That's okay with you, right Hanayo? Hanayo: Yup! Now let's see... These school idol magazines are technically club-related, but maybe there are too many... Kotori: I say we keep the ones from last year, but anything older than that should probable get tossed. Nico: Tossed?! You would toss out a school idol's life?! Honoka: L-Life? These are your life, Nico? Nico: I think I've collected every single school idol magazine that's been printed from the day I was born until now. You MUSTN'T throw those away! Hanayo: Nico, the fact that you collected all of these is actually pretty impressive. Umi: But the bookshelves are completely full. You'll have to put next month's issue on the floor. Hanayo: Huh? Leave a school idol magazine lying on the floor? I'd rather die! Maki: What if you took the issues older than a year and made a scrap book out of the pages you actually care about? That would free up a lot of space. Nico: Hmph... All right. That's a fair compromise. Nozomi: *Giggle* Nico-cchi's being her usual snooty self. Kotori: Hey everyone, I've been thinking... Kotori: The only things we should keep are the ones we love so much, they make your heart skip a beat! Honoka: Skip a beat? Kotori: Yeah! I mean, the club room's special to us all, right? Then we should only use it to store things that are special to us, too. Rin: I see... What about the stuff that DOESN'T make our hearts skip a beat? Kotori: We chuck it! We don't need to keep things we don't care about. Honoka: K-Kotori's like a wolf in sheep's clothing! Kotori: I'll go look through all the costumes. Everyone else, try to finish up here before I get back. Honoka: Y-Yes ma'am! Nico: Kotori will come in here and toss everything without batting an eyelash. We gotta finish before she returns. Hanayo: Right! Kotori: Let's get the job done, everyone! Nozomi: At times like these, Kotori's like... the most resourceful, or something. Don'tcha think? Rin: Totally. Kotori: Aww, this one got snagged too? Honoka: *Pant* *Wheeze* Kotori, we're done cleaning the main room! Kotori: Oh, hi Honoka! That's great to hear! Eli: Everyone worked very hard. We were all desperate to make sure nothing we wanted to keep would get thrown out. Nozomi: How's it going with the costumes, Kotori? Kotori: Well, I was relieved to see they didn't get dirty, but some of them lost a bunch of sequins, or got frayed. I'm fixing them up now. Umi: Seeing all our costumes laid out like this is nothing short of spellbinding. I can't believe you made all of these yourself. Honoka: Ooh, look! Those are the ones the three of us wore the first time we took the stage together. Kotori: That's right. Looking at them now though, I feel like there was so much more I could've done to make them even prettier. Hanayo: You think? I wouldn't change a thing. Kotori: I do. Then again, every costume brings back so many memories. I'm so glad I joined µ's! Nico: What say we all pitch in with the costume repair? It'll make things go faster. Kotori: I'd love the help. Let's do it! Kotori: Thank you so much, everyone. All the costumes look like new! Nozomi: Beautiful, beautiful! It's great that you took care of everything, Kotori, but from now on let's all make a habit of checking our costumes after each show. Rin: Cleanup is kind of a pain, but I definitely want to keep our costumes looking pretty! Nico: Yeah! These costumes are permeated with our legend, after all. Honoka: Hmm? Umi, Maki, what've you two got there? Umi: I've got a notebook I used for writing lyrics. Maki: And I've got my musical score. I think it'd be happier in here with the costumes. Rin: The score would be happy? Nozomi: Costume, lyrics, and music. They're all full of so many of our memories. Honoka: You're right... They're some of the most important things µ's has! Eli: They're symbols of our hard work and dedication. Kotori: Yes! Laying everything out like this really makes you proud of all your efforts! Umi: This may be the most eventful year we've ever had. Hanayo: And our annual cleanup gave us the chance to look back and reflect on everything we've accomplished. Honoka: Yup! |

| Rin: Now that all the cardboard boxes are gone, the room feels so spacious!
Hanayo: Rin, don't run around like that. It's dangerous. Nozomi: Way to go guys! We did a great job cleaning up! Nico: All that's left now is the stuff we truly love. Kotori: Yippee! Our cleanup was a huge success! Umi: Yes. And as long as we make time to clean up as we go from now on, we should be able to avoid any more big cleaning days. Honoka: Hey, while we're at it, why don't we clean up some of the other rooms, too? Eli: Other rooms? Honoka: Yeah! Like our classroom, the music rooms... We use a lot of spaces besides our own club room, you know. Nozomi: Good idea! We wouldn't be able to manage if this were the only room we were allowed to use. Maki: I like it. The other rooms mean just as much to us. Rin: Count me in! Honoka: Great. Let's split up and get started! Rin: *Scrub* *Scrub* Whew... This stuff looks clean at first glance, but when you wipe it down, it's actually filthy! Hanayo: Hmm? Rin, your desk still has a bunch of paper in it. Rin: Lemme see. Ah, this is our quiz from the other day. Maki: Another one? Do your parents get to see ANY of you grades!? Rin: Tee-hee... I'll bring them home today. Promise! Hanayo: *Giggle* We didn't get to know Maki till she joined µ's. We had a lot of great moments in class during our freshman year! Rin: Yup! I'm so happy we made friends with you, Maki. Maki: Yes, yes. I'm just not going to go out of my way to say I'm happy we became friends or anything. Maki: Well, maybe just this once. Hanayo: *Snicker* Rin: *Giggle* Eli: I've spent a lot of time in class and in our club room, but we've spent every bit as long in the student council room. Nozomi: You said it. And you can't help but think back on all that time while you're cleaning up. Nozomi: I remember the first time we met, Eli. Eli: And just what do you remember? Nozomi: I remember how scary you looked back then! Eli: Oh, cut it out. Are you gonna start picking on me about that again? Nozomi: Why not? Scary Eli and nice Eli, you name 'em I've seen them here! Eli: I guess I might never have met everyone if I hadn't been that person back then. Nozomi: Yeah! That's like, the essence of youth, or something! Eli: Ha, ha, ha! What? You seriously crack me up, Nozomi. Kotori: I'm going to clean your stalls up now, so just sit tight. Alpaca M: Haw. Kotori: I'm sorry. It won't take long. Bear with me, okay? Hanayo: Heh, heh. I think the alpacas are happy, too. I think everyone prefers to live in a nice, clean room. Kotori: Yes! I'd be so happy if the alpacas felt that way too. Alpaca F: Haaawww! Kotori: Eek! Hee, hee, that tickles! Maki: That should do it for the music room. Thanks for your help, Umi. Umi: Of course! All of µ's' music is created in this room. The least we can do is keep it clean. Umi: Actually, you do most of your composing in the music room, don't you, Maki? Maki: Yes. It's always empty after school, so it's easy to stay focused. Maki: Since I joined µ's, there's plenty of days where everyone else comes along. It can get rather noisy. Umi: True. If we're ever in the way of your composing, just let us know. We'll get out of your hair. Maki: Oh, it's fine. I used to need complete solitude to write music, but now, having everyone around seems to inspire me with new ideas. Umi: Really? Hee, hee... That's wonderful. Honoka: This is where the three of us held our first live show. Nico: Yeah. Back then µ's didn't even have a name yet. That's why we always wanted to have a show here in the auditorium. Honoka: Oh yeah! I was ecstatic when we finally performed as a full group! Nico: There'd be no µ's without this hall. You could say it plays a big part of our legend. Nico: So let's give it a good scrubbing and make it shine like a diamond! Honoka: Woohoo! Honoka: We're done! Everything's spick-and-span! Kotori: The club room, the classroom, the auditorium, even the shrine. We cleaned up everywhere! Umi: Yes! It feels so refreshing. Nozomi: There's still a good bit of time left in the year, but I'm glad we got our year-end cleanup done early! Rin: I worked my tail off. I might even clean up my room when I get home tonight. Nico: You should. We're school idols. The rooms we live in should be cute, cuddly, and clean! Honoka: And best of all, now we don't have to clean again for a whole year! Hanayo: Huh? Eli: I'm sorry, I must've misheard you. It sounded like you said we don't have to clean for a whole year? Honoka: Exactly! We just cleaned a whole year's worth of dirt and clutter, didn't we? Maki: Oh, for the love of... Umi: Honoka, please start cleaning up after yourself at the end of the day! EVERY day! Honoka: Ha, ha, ha. Sorry! I will! |
